Booking and Payment conditions
The trip price is quoted in GBP £. The payment can be made in ‘hard currency’ at the current published rate against the US $. The payment can also be made in US$, GBP and in EURO in which case the payment will be calculated and shown in Nepali rupees at the current rate against the currency when paid in ‘hard currency’. A deposit of 50% of the trip cost must be deposited or paid at the time of booking. Your place on any trip will not be guaranteed or held unless this deposit is paid. Remaining balance of payment or full payment is required prior to trip departure. We do not accept credit card payment.
If due to an emergency you are unable to participate on the trip, there will be a minimal of 20% fee charged on cancellation. What constitutes a ‘true emergency’ is interpreted at
Drift Nepal Expedition ’s discretion. Conditions such as dysentery and giardia are common in Asia and are not classified as emergencies.
Transfer to an alternative departure date will be charged an additional 1,000 NPR per person.
Last minute cancellation and absence at departure will not be refunded.
Under no circumstances will there be a refund of any kind if you do not show up for the trip departure, or if you leave a trip for any reason, wither voluntary or involuntary, after the trip has started.
I have read and fully understood the information contained in the material provided to me by Drift Nepal Expedition pertaining to the trip I have decided to join. I am content and willing to cope with the situations, condition and circumstances made clear to me by subsidiaries, associated, agents and employees of drift Nepal Expedition. I recognize and agree that the realities made clear to me by information supplied by Drift Nepal Expedition reflect the inherent characteristics of adventure travel and; not least the matters of flexibility, reasonableness, adaptability, practical personal contribution to the lifestyle and the fact that not all situations, conditions, circumstances encountered on the trip are identical to those pre-existing and prevailing at the time of booking. I also recognize that I am undertaking a journey in remote areas and that there is a significant amount of personal risk, which sometimes becomes a reality. I fully understand the relative remoteness, the rough travel and weather conditions, the relatively limited medical services, as well as the greater potential dangers compared to everyday life or conventional holiday travel. I fully recognize these realities and have chosen, on my own accord to undertake a journey of this nature. I fully recognize and accept to all the above-mentioned in respect to the journey that I have undertaken to participate.
